For tackling Makinde: PDP chieftain knocks Olopoeyan, describes him as political jobber

Alhaji Bisi Olopoeyan, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, has received hard knocks over what was described as his anti-party activities capable of sabotaging the party.
Hitting hard on Olopoeyan was another chieftain of PDP, Chief Waheed Atilola, during a media interview monitored by ogbomosoinsightonline.com recently.
Chief Atilola had submitted that Olopoeyan, who had become estranged from Governor Seyi Makinde, was a chronic political jobber who thrives mainly on noise-making.
Atilola accused him of fraternizing with politicians of the main opposition party in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC), maintaining, “Only a coward and political jobber like Olopoeyan would do PDP during the day and do APC during the night.”
He noted that Olopoeyan was ripe for suspension from the ruling party in view of what he described as his anti-party activities.
Atilola further asserted that Olopoeyan could not continue to pretend to be a member of PDP when his body and soul are in APC, emphasizing that leaving PDP would be the best bet for him.
He averred, “PDP no longer needs political jobbers, people with no character, people with no principles, and most importantly people who have never delivered their wards and local government areas.”
When asked to react to a 33 secs video of Alhaji Olopoeyan which went viral on social media some weeks ago, where he (Olopoeyan) accused Engr. Makinde of not rewarding his electoral inputs in the 2019 elections, Atilola insisted Olopoeyan was an ingrate who should not be taken serious.
He fired, “I am perplexed that Olopoeyan could say Governor Makinde is yet to compensate him. I am aware that he has been on monthly payroll of Engr. Makinde since 2008. Engr. Makinde has always funded Olopoeyan’s Ramadan and Ileya parties, apart footing all his domestic bills.
“Olopoeyan should show gratitude, instead of serially attacking and blackmailing Governor Makinde. His Excellency is busy with business of governance and will not be distracted by the antics of the agents of opposition party.
“I caution all the APC chieftains to be wary of Olopoeyan who is distinguished by his political gimmicks.
“I know Bisi Yoyo very well; he is fraudulent and dangerous. I pity the APC gladiators he is hobnobbing; he will destroy their camps in his bid of sustaining his daily bread.
“He is notorious for his puerile attacks on his political allies and benefactors especially when he can no longer get pocket money and control them” he noted.
