Maloud Nabiyy: Ogbomoso South council boss calls for prayer for the nation

The Ogbomoso South local government caretaker chairman Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has enjoined Muslims to pray for Nigeria and imbibe the virtues of the holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as they celebrate this yea’s MALOUD -NABIYY
Oyedokun made this statement while felicitating Muslims in a release yesterday.
He also prayed for the quick release of Iganna LCDA boss Jacob Olayiwola Adeleke who was kidnapped last Sunday by unknown gunmen.
The council boss urged Muslims to fulfill their part by praying for the peace and grotection of the nation.
Hon. Oyedokun further used the opportunity to implore parents and guardians to always monitor their children to keep them from unlawful acts, which he noted could tarnish their image.
He charged youths to be law abiding emphasizing that the Oyo state government frowns at acts that could jeopardize the peace of the state.
While commending the state governor, Seyi Makinde for being a role model to local governments chairmen in the state, and the country at large, he called on Muslim clerics and religious leaders generally to keep teaching people righteous living devoid of sin and corruption ‘as this is the only way the citizens can support the government to enhance good governance , peace and crime free society.’
