Former President Olusegun Obasanjo will be the chairman at the public presentation of the autobiography of Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala on November 5, 2020, in Ibadan.
The autobiography titled ‘The Amazing Gracing: The Autobiography of Adebayo Alao-Akala,’ is an explosive book, which should have been launched last June 1 as part of the programme lined up to mark the former Oyo state governor’s 70th birthday however aborted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The book to be reviewed by Dr Saka Balogun is to be presented at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan, starting 11am.
In a chat with The Insight yesterday, Otunba Alao-Akala said it took him over a year to personally write the book adding that it touches many aspects of his life, his governorship administration, views on Oyo state, assassination attempt on his life and many more.
Many dignitaries are expected at the event including his boss, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo state.
