Dr Doyin Odebowale, the man who uncharitably spoke about the exalted stool of Ogbomoso, recklessly crossing the red line of traditional sanctity during a radio interview at Lagelu FM station in Ibadan recently, and subsequently facing lots of backlashes and opprobrium and got invited by the Oyo State Police command, aftermath a petition by the palace of the Oba, has finally shown up at the Eleyele headquarters of the command in Ibadan, ogbomosoinsightonline.com can authoritatively report.

Odebowale according to impeccable police sources came in the company of five or six senior lawyers including the branch chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Ibadan.

Upon arrival at the station he was made to write a statement though his lawyers reportedly argued that the matter was a civil matter and should have been taken to court for adjudication but the police countered that his conduct and unguarded remarks on radio were capable of sparking uproar and unrest.

The police it was gathered are looking at charging him for criminal conspiracy and conduct likely to cause breach of public peace.
He was later admitted to bail with the NBA branch chairman standing as guarantor.
Recall that Odebowale, a former aide of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, has also been reprimanded by the Oyo State House of Assembly with a directive to the Oyo state Commissioner for Justice to institute legal action against him.
