Time stood still Friday as Hon Femi Onireti hosted political associates, friends and others to a cozy Christmas cum New Year party. Tee Flavour a.k.a. Ododo Emi was the guest artiste; he brought life to the party with his electrifying performance.

The occasion held at his residence at Adiatu area of Ogbomoso, Oyo state, was described as a  “thanksgiving moment” by Hon Onireti while speaking with ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

“It is our way of saying thank you lord, appreciation time to our creator, who keeps us from harm continuously. People came for merriment, cheer, eat and drink. It’s a nice time for all who attended. They eased the engulfing tension and hardship, it was a moment of thanksgiving despite the various challenges,” the U.S.-based businessman and chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said.

Onireti, who contested the 2023 general election to represent Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency on the PDP platform, also wrote in a social media post, his Facebook page, “Yesterday, we turned moments into memories as political gladiators, PDP leaders, my amazing supporters and the good people of Ogbomoso joined me at my residence for our Christmas and New Year party. 

“Tee Flavour (Ododo Emi) delivered a show-stopping performance, adding color to an already fantastic evening.

“Thank you all for being a part of it. Together, we’re stepping into 2025 with renewed energy and purpose.”

Among political bigwigs at the event are chairman of Ogbomoso North local government, Hon George Ogunlade; Hon Oyeniyi Oyedokun Timothy, chairman of Ogbomoso South local government; Hon Akinwole Akinwale, PDP senatorial candidate for Oyo North in the 2023 general election; Hon Adeseun Adeyinka, a former caretaker chairman of Ogbomoso Central LCDA; and Hon Jide Oketunbi, a former commissioner at the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), representing Oyo state.
