Prominent Islamic preacher, Sheikh Muyideen Bello, passes away, a month after mosques’ commissioning

Prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello, is dead.

He reportedly died December 6, at the age of 84.

 

The Ibadan-born preacher, popularly called “Oniwaasi Agbaaye,” started delivering messages since he was ten years old.

Nonetheless, he pursued formal education, leading to his bagging National Certificate of Education certificate.

 

The Arolu-Kosodo, Ibadan-born cleric commissioned a mosque he constructed at his family compound last month, christened, “Arolu Central Mosque.”

He was also in Ogbomoso on November 4, to deliver a pointed message at the commissioning of Ibapon Central Mosque built by Senator Fatai Buhari, a function attended by Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima and Senate Deputy President, Jubrin Barau.
