Soun jets out to UK, to inaugurate Ogbomoso Parapo Liverpool, mobilize for Cradles Carnival

Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has jetted out to the United Kingdom in his bid to ginger Ogbomosos in diaspora to “think home, come home and develop home.”

The monarch’s primary mission in the UK this time around is to inaugurate the Ogbomoso Parapo Liverpool branch.     

The event will take place at the Alive Believers Church, Community Centre, Boaler Street, Liverpool.

Professors Adetoro Adegoke and Soji Owoade are billed to be guest speakers at the event, which is taking place this evening.

The paramount ruler is also expected to use the occasion to address the gathering on the forthcoming Ogbomoso Cradles Carnival scheduled to hold between December 19 and 23.

The carnival is already on the calendar of both the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as of the Oyo state Ministry of Tourism and Culture following approvals by the two ministries.    

The carnival, a bold initiative of Oba Ghandi is envisaged will provide an avenue for Ogbomoso indigenes at home and in the diaspora to congregate towards igniting moves that will spark runaway development and a re-modelling of the zone in all facets.

In the meantime the programme just ended according to a participant who had a Whatsapp chat with Ogbomoso Insight.
