Alaaje therefore craved the indulgence of all to support him to succeed in the enormous task.

“The appointment of Mr. Adeola Tosin Ajayi is one of the best things to have happened to security upgrading in Nigeria based on what I know about the new security czar. His years in service have been glittering. He is a credible man, an active officer, proactive, excellent in intelligence gathering and exceedingly operational.

“Mr. Ajayi is a man of integrity, a loyal officer to both superordinates and subordinates, a well-groomed officer in operation and intelligence gathering, digitally compliant and technologically savvy. I am sure the task of maintaining law and order and combating insecurity in the country will be accomplished excellently.

“He is one of my successors as DSS Director in Kogi State. My first appointment as DSS Director by DG K.K. Aare during the tenure of President Olusegun Obasanjo, was Kogi State and that is where Mr. Ajayi served until his recent appointment. I can tell you he surpassed my achievements in Kogi state. Till date, Kogi remains a haven of peace, it is because of this man’s contribution in synergy with other security agencies. He really improved the security architecture of the state and in other places he had served.
“He is of good character, reliable, credible, resourceful, trustworthy, a man of integrity and very proactive. He is loyal and have the fear of God and has never betrayed any of his superordinates. He is not too quiet, so he cannot be taken for granted. However, his only weakness is that he loves the operatives and staffers of the DSS and he can do anything to make the task of maintaining peace and stability in Nigeria a success. He is ready to give his all.

“He also has a supportive wife, a wonderful woman, who treats those under his husband with respect and civility and never displays overbearing attitude towards them. I therefore crave the indulgence of all SSS personnel to support and cooperate with him to achieve the goal for which he has been appointed especially during this time.”

Alaaje also hailed the new DG and his wife as one of the major sponsors of his widowhood/orphanage foundation – Abigail Ebun Asakun Widowhood Foundation – disclosing that was the reason he was conferred with the Award of Excellence in Humanitarian Service (as a three-star donor) during the non-governmental organization’s 10th Widowhood Festival in 2022.

As he stressed that those who help the less-privileged like the widows and orphans are in line for God’s favour, he underlined, “God knows how to bless those who assist orphans. Mr. Ajayi is one of the philanthropists that assist us, he and his wife have been extending hand of fellowship and assistance to orphans in Aaje Ologo. When these widows and orphans heard about his elevation they were happy and they have been praying for him to succeed. He will definitely succeed in Jesus name.
