Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaaye, apex socio-cultural organization in Ogbomosoland, has congratulated the Soun His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III on his 63rd birthday.

 

“Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaaye under the leadership of Hon. Justice Afolabi Adeniran (rtd) rejoices with the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III on the wonderful occasion of his 63rd birthday on August 23, 2024.”

This goodwill message contained in a statement signed by its president Justice Afolabi Adeniran (rtd), general secretary High Chief Akintunde Okesanya and PRO Comrade T M. Balogun, remarked the association is filled it with happiness being the first birthday to be marked by Oba Olaoye in his capacity as the Soun of Ogbomosoland.

It further noted the Oba’s drive to change the narrative of the community is praiseworthy stressing it is the more reason it’s full of joy.

The group described as magnificent the 25 year – development plan initiated by Oba Ghandi, declaring unalloyed support and charged all sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland to fully support the agenda in the paramount interest of the zone.

 

“We are exceedingly happy the Kabiyesi is celebrating his first birthday as our monarch. We are happy with him. Happier are we by his groundbreaking strides since he ascended the throne of his fathers.

“He has demonstrated his undying love and patriotism for Ogbomosoland evident eminently in various inspiring accomplishments particularly articulating a 25 year – development plan, which we note is a roadmap for transformation. This is magnificent, Ogbomoso Parapo is in full support and we pray earnestly the goal to amplify growth and development in our fatherland will be realized quickly.”

It enthused the monarch has instituted a new song whose theme is development urging every indigene to patriotically join in singing it and be its promoter.

 

“We charge our compatriots to fully key into this agenda enacted by Oba Orumogege lll. Kabiyesi has inspired a new song, a new song of development possibilities, let’s rally round to promote it so we can witness a greatly empowered realm in our time.”

It subsequently prayed for the Oba who was installed on September 8, 2023 and got his staff and instruments of office on December 19, wishing him a long reign in sound health “as you work assiduously to birth a modern Ogbomoso.”

 

“Our esteemed Kabiyesi, on behalf of all sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland we say hearty congratulations and we pray earnestly for more strength, wisdom, God’s guidance, health and Divine protection. Long may Your Majesty reign. Power on under the grace of God as you work assiduously to birth a modern Ogbomoso.”
