His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, the Soun of Ogbomosoland, has been described as a monarch whose reign has opened a wonderful chapter in the annals of the historical city.
This was contained in a congratulatory message to the monarch by the Ogbomoso Development Association (ODA) on his birthday anniversary.
ODA in the statement signed by its president, Sir Chief Gabriel Olusola Olaleye, and the general secretary, Mrs. Felicia Abake Areo, noted, “we are honored to join in the celebrations of Kabiyesi’s birthday anniversary.”

It observed, “The reign of His Imperial Majesty has marked a wonderful chapter in the history of Ogbomosoland. During his tenure, the community has witnessed remarkable progress with the implementation of various developmental initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of the people. Kabiyesi’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and prosperity of his subjects has solidified his position as a beloved and respected monarch.
