“Ogbomoso culture and tourism festival is a laudable idea and I commend the Kabiyesi for his vision,” he wrote. “However I think a week long will be too brief for the kind of impact we desire it to make. I will suggest a 2 week long event in the first instance ”
He said this would enable a thorough event that would accommodate more programmes while in the future should be extended to one month during which the uniqueness of various communities in Ogbomoso zone would be showcased.
“We will then strategically grow it to a one month event, bringing in all the villages in Ogbomoso and naming a day to them to feature their uniqueness and specialties.”

Oke proposed a culture and tourism village be built of temporary materials and stuffs. “We can consider a unique venue that can be called ‘OGBOMOSO CULTURE AND TOURISM VILLAGE’ for the event. It could be of fabricated temporary structures that could be dismantled afterwards.”
He then added, “Let there be a special ‘Ogbomoso culture and tourism festival lecture series’ incorporated in the event to be delivered by erudite Ogbomoso sons and daughters every year. I’ll make more suggestions as it comes to mind and I hope they’ll get to the committee.”
