Gunmen strike in Oke-Ogun again, two kidnapped, one injured

Oke-Ogun area of Oyo state has come under the attack of dare-devil kidnappers again as two persons were at the dawn of Saturday abducted while one, husband of a kidnapped victim, was severely injured.
According to a report by Daily Post, the incident happened at about 2am in Otu in Itesiwaju local government area Saturday.

The report gave the names of the two kidnapped victims as Mr. Dayo Olayanju and wife of Mrs. Obasola (whose husband Kehinde escaped with gunshot.injuries).
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the kidnapped victims are unknown.

A community leader in the local government area, confirmed the incident occurred Saturday morning.
The community leader who pleaded anonymity, said, “It is true. It happened around 2 am today.

“They were kidnapped in different areas. One was kidnapped along Okeho road.
“I have confirmed it. The two people kidnapped are Dayo Olayanju and wife of Kehinde Obasola. Kehinde Obasola escaped with gunshots but his wife was kidnapped.”
Meanwhile security agents are yet to react to the incident.
