3 Ogbomoso traditional chiefs get date of presentation of staff of office

Oyo state governor Engr Seyi Makinde will on January 31 present staff and instrument of office to three traditional rulers in Ogbomoso North local government.

The prospective chiefs who recently got approval for their appointment include the Abese of Ogbomosoland High Chief Kasali Oladipo Yusuf; Alaasa of Ogbomosoland, High Chief Joseph Oyelola Oyedele and Baale Yaku, Chief Ojewumi Sunday Oyeniyi.

In a letter titled, “Approval of date of presentation of staff/instrument of office to the newly approved Baales in Ogbomoso North local government,” by the ministry of local government and chieftaincy matters, addressed to the chairman of Ogbomoso North local government, signed by the Director (Chieftaincy Matters), on behalf of the Honourable Commissioner, and obtained by ogbomosoinsightonline.com, the January 31 date is confirmed, while enjoining that necessary arrangements be made for a befitting programme.
While the Alaasa and Baale Yaku are traditional rulers of their respective communities, the Abese is an Ilu chief and a member of the Soun kingmakers.
