DESTINY FULFILLED: Prince who contested and lost twice emerges new Aare Alaasa

A new Aare Alaasa of Ogbomosoland has emerged.
He is HRH Joseph Oyedele, installed at the palace of Aare Alaasa on Tuesday, November 21.
The new Aare Alaasa succeeded HRH Jacob Iyanda Oyetunde who joined his ancestors in January 2021.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the new Alaasa contested the stool on two former occasions, of course, losing on both occasions.
According to findings, he contested in the eighties against HRH Salami Sangolade who won the contest.
Then, at the time of the immediate past Alaasa, High Chief Oyetunde, he also joined the race, also losing.
But this time around, destiny is fulfilled in his case as out of about seven contestants he emerged victorious.
His installation by his people Tuesday made him realize his ambition at long last.
