WAEC speaks on non-payment of supervisors’ entitlement

West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) Nigeria has stated supervisors for its May/June WASSCE yet to be paid their entitlement will soon receive alert.

In a statement issued via its X handle @waecnigeria on September 12, the oexamination body expressing regret apologized to the supervisors who have been groaning over the non-payment since June when the examination ended assuring the payments would soon be made.

“We wish to express our deep sense of regret to our esteemed supervisors, who are yet to receive their pay.
Payments are ongoing, and those who are yet to get paid will receive their payments soon.

Once again, we apologise for the delay.”
Recall that ogbomosoinsightonline.com had in an article on September 10 following torrent of complaints made to the stable from the affected supervisors raised the issue urging WAEC to be righteous to its calling.
