The installation of Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III as Soun of Ogbomosoland has continued to receive accolades as top socio-cultural organization Ogbomoso Descendants Development Association (ODDA) in a congratulatory message made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com expresses joy and hails Oyo state governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for making it happen.
The goodwill message signed by its president Air Vice Marshal Bolaji Adigun (rtd) and public relations officer Mr Olusegun Aremu, titled, “Congratulations on your successful installation as Soun of Ogbomosoland,” ODDA remarks it received the announcement with great joy while wishing the new monarch a successful reign.

“We the Ogbomoso Descendants Development Association (ODDA) join all Ogbomoso sons and daughters home and abroad to congratulate our revered Kabiyesi, Oba Soun of Ogbomosoland on your successful installation as the next monarch of our great ancestral land.
“The announcement of your emergence as the next Soun of Ogbomosoland to filling the vacant stool of our ancestral land was overwhelmingly received with joy and happiness having been without a king for over a year. Your nomination, emergence and subsequent approval by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde gladden our heart beyond measure.”
Expressing gratitude to the governor the association says, “We sincerely appreciate our dear Governor, His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE for making this to happen and it is our earnest prayer that he continues the good work he has started in taking the state to an enviable height.”
ODDA enthuses with immense confidence that with the inauguration of Oba Olaoye Ogbomoso will experience a new wave of comfort, goodies, economic buoyancy and development.

ODDA which is a leading, formidable socio-cultural organization in Ogbomoso, makes an avowal of support and loyalty, asserting, “We therefore pledge our unflinching allegiance, support to the king in collaboration with other groups and individuals so as to make the reign of Kabiyesi an enviable one,” as it adds, “It is worthy of note dear king, that our ancestral home has been famous for good things, this we promise to support Kabiyesi in sustaining and indeed become greater than we were in the interest of Kabiyesi and our people.”
It continues, reiterating its commitment to the growth of the community, “One of our cardinal objectives in ODDA just as the name implies, is for growth and development of Ogbomoso and its people amongst others; this we shall intensify efforts the more to achieve and as we look forward to your coronation, it is our hope and prayer that God will give Kabiyesi sound health, the knowledge, wisdom and courage to lead us aright.
