Ogbomoso Socialites Club has congratulated Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye on his official declaration as the new Soun of Ogbomosoland while wishing his reign will witness strings of glory and development.

In a congratulatory message made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com titled, “Congratulatory letter to our Soun-Elect: Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye” and signed by its president, Mr. Akin Oyegbile, the association noted the choice of Prince Ghandi Olaoye fills members with immense pride.

“On behalf of the entire membership of Ogbomoso Socialites Club, I want to send warm congratulations to you on being declared the Soun-Elect of Ogbomoso land. We are extremely proud of you and wish you all the best as you assume the throne of your forebears.”

The group posited that having been prepared in the vineyard of God for about thirty years the Soun-elect would further draw from his repertoire of intellect and competence to create a community brimming with developmental strides.

“As you affirmed in a recent television interview, God has prepared you over the past 30years to Shepard the people of Ogbomoso land. With your intellect, capacity for hard work and your deft moves on the Scrabble board, Ogbomoso land is set to witness a new lease of life and leaps of development.”

Wishing the man of God success in the task ahead it noted, “Our prayers for you and your family is that your reign will be long, filled with joy and prosperity with gifts of wisdom and discernment, all in good health.

Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, ogbomosoinsightonline.com recalls, communicated the approval of the appointment of Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye on Saturday (September 2, 2023) via a letter signed by the Oyo state commissioner for local government and chieftaincy matters, Mr. Olusegun Olayiwola, sequel to his selection by the kingmakers in March 2022.

Since the announcement congratulatory messages have been pouring in for the Soun-elect all praying his reign will usher Ogbomoso into a new dawn of glory.
