LAUTECH to host 1st international conference on cement and concrete research

An international conference on current advances in cement and concrete research will be hosted by Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, from November 15 to 18 2022.
The conference, the first of its kind, dubbed “ICACCR 2022” and whose theme is “Cement and concrete innovative materials for sustainable development,” will hold at The Great Hall of the institution.
Being put together by the Cement and Concrete Research Group (CEMCON), LAUTECH in conjunctions with the Sustainable Green Concrete Research Group (SGCRG), University of South Africa (UNISA), Johannesburg, it will have as keynote speakers eggheads in the field across the globe including Prof Festus Olutoge (from Trinidad & Tobago) and Prof Daman Panasar (Canada). Others are Dr Ahmed Ash (United Kingdom), Dr Israel A. Osofero (United Kingdom) and Engr. Yussuf Femi (Nigeria).
Prof. Mojeed Olaide Liasu, Acting Vice Chancellor, LAUTECH, is to be Chairman of the conference while Prof. Dahud Kehinde Shangodoyin, Oyo State Commissioner for Public Works and Transport, is expected to grace the event as Distinguished Guest of Honour just as Prof Ayodeji Omole, LAUTECH’s Pro-Chancellor and Engr. Prof Simeon O. Jekayinfa, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, LAUTECH) are Chief Host and Host respectively.
Professor Akeem A. Raheem (LAUTECH) is the Conference Chair while Prof Bolanle D. Ikotun (UNISA) is the Co-Comference Chair
