Mr. Femi Onireti has redeemed another of his promise.
This time around he rewarded two students for their outstanding feats in line with promises he made earlier concerning them.
Lawal Ajarat, a student of Owode Community Grammar School, Ogbomoso, who won the Femi Onireti quiz competition among public secondary schools students in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire local governments last May, whom he later promised to pay her NECO and UTME fees, received the money yesterday at Onireti’s residence at Odo-Oru.
The payment of the exams fees is in addition to the prizes won earlier in which as winner of the competition she won on behalf of her school an hybrid laptop and a sum of N50, 000.
Also, a student of Smith International Baptist Academy, Ogbomoso (SIBAO), Bolaji Ogunlana, who drew his portrait, which was on display during an art competition and exhibition by Lite Art Foundation, was rewarded with cash donation.
Speaking with ogbomoinsightonline.com, the philanthropist said the development of young ones is one thing he cherishes.
He added that he would always contribute his quota to making the upcoming ones realize their potentials.
“I am happy l am able to fulfill the promise l made today. After the quiz competition l made a promise to pay the NECO and UTME fees of Lawal Ajarat for coming first in the Femi Onireti quiz competition, aside the prizes given during the competition proper.
“Fulfilling the promise has been overdue but l thank God l am able to redeem it today. This is the same thing with the young artist, when Lite Art Foundation brought the work to my notice l promised to reward the boy.
“We will continue to support our youths so that we can help them develop their God-given talents and realize their potentials. It is something l highly cherish.
“Our youths are our future, if we consciously help to develop them we are only helping to secure the tomorrow of our society.”
Both Ajarat and Bolaji, the two beneficiaries, who are currently writing their NECO exams, in separate interviews, expressed gratitude to Onireti, praying his dreams would become reality.
They promised never to let him down.
