Mother-of-all medical outreach to begin at Soun palace – See date

Residents of Ogbomoso, Oyo state, will benefit from a 2-day free medical mission outreach beginning Saturday, March 29 and end on Sunday, March 30, at the palace of the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III.
The programme, organized and supervised by the healthcare/medical committee, under the auspices of the 25 year-development plan of the monarch, will be held in partnership with the “Mercy Said No Mission Outreach.”
According to a statement signed by Rev Peter Olaleye, coordinating assistant on media and community relations to Oba Olaoye, “the initiative is dedicated to ensuring that our people have access to free, quality healthcare.”

He listed the scope of the outreach to include free medical checkups, health consultations, eye tests and free glasses, basic treatment and management of diabetes, hypertension etc.
The statement adds, “Oba Olaoye wishes to encourage everyone to take advantage of this life-changing opportunity to prioritize their health. Let us work together for a healthier Ogbomoso!”
It is recalled similar medical outreaches had been held in the palace in the past.
