TRAGEDY: School principal dies in Ogbomoso few days to wife’s 3rd memorial

Death has occured of the principal of Ifelagba Community High School, Gbena, in Surulere local government area of Oyo state, Chief Ibrahim Ogundiran.
Ogundiran according to a member of staff of the school, who did not want his name mentioned, passed away in the wee hours of Friday after he experienced health complications.
Those who saw him Thursday however stated he showed no signs of illness and was indeed seen at some locations.
“On Thursday, when I saw him in the school, he was hale and hearty, and had no sign of any sickness. It is sad he passed away in the manner,” a public school teacher informed ogbomosoinsightonline.com.
He lost his wife about two years ago and plan was in top gear to hold the third anniversary of her death, “unfortunately, he is no more,” said a friend. The commemorative prayer was indeed scheduled to hold next Sunday and was said to have contacted the Islamic clerics to lead the prayer Thursday.

He served as a supervisor at the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Ogbomoso zonal office, for a few years before being posted to assume the principalship of Gbena Community High School, late 2024.
The Adeniran Memorial Grammar School old student is survived by 5 children. He would have been 56 in August.
