Comrade Ajala said the school carefully selected the beneficiaries to make sure they are truly indigent students, while urging, “the only way the benefitting students can show gratitude is to be dedicated to their education.”

He recalled Alaaje Ologo saying he lost his parents early, especially his father which made his mother go through a lot of difficulties training him.

Ajala, a national officer of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) charged the students to “study hard and reciprocate such gestures in the future.”

Mrs. Elizabeth Ajao, mother of one of the beneficiaries, expressing appreciation, stated, “I appreciate Oba Alaaje Ologo, I alone take care of my children, I pray his children will be blessed too and fulfill their glory and receive mercy in Jesus. This is relieving. I also thank the principal of the school and all the teachers.”
