Appeal Court victory: Hon Odebunmi Bunvic congratulates Soun – ‘It’s sweetest victory,’ he says

Hon Olusegun Odebunmi, chairman of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority,, has sent a heartfelt congratulatory message to the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III on his victory at the Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan, Tuesday.

In an appeal he filed alongside the Oyo state government against his sack by the Appeal Court in October 2023, in a case instituted by Prince Muhammed Kabir Olaoye, the judgement today was in his favour as the Appelate Court affirmed he was duly selected by the kingmakers.

Congratulating the monarch Hon Odebunmi fondly called Bunvic described the victory in a letter he personally signed as the “sweetest taste so far this year.”

Continuing Bunvic, a three – time member of the Lower Chamber of the National Assembly, added, “The victory today is sweet, it’s the sweetest victory we have had this year. It is indeed a sign of good things to come. Ogbomoso is on the path of greater progress and development. We thank God this is not halted. We can move at a greater speed now. I congratulate His Imperial Majesty on the victory, more wins in Jesus name.”

Hon Odebunmi urged all and sundry to “bury the hatchet and unite to move Ogbomoso forward.”
