The evil men do always get exposed, no matter how well covered!

That is the case of a 65 year – old prophet in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, who is now cooling his feet in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The prophet (name unknown) was detained Friday, February 7, after his atrocity was uncovered, earlier in the week, on Tuesday, February 4 at a leading hospital (names withheld) in the city, ogbomosoinsightonline.com learned.

According to findings, a young girl of 14 (name withheld) was taken to the said hospital by his brother, also a teenager who wanted a medical examination of his younger sister’s virginity.

It was confirmed the girl had been deflowered and violated several times. The girl re-confirmed it was their guardian, who had been forcefully having carnal knowledge of her and her younger sister, a nine year – old. She confessed the defilement had been going on for almost two years.

According to findings, the children are orphans, causing the two minors to go into the custody of their grandmother, who is married to the suspected prophet.

The prophet who has his church, a ministry styled Cherubim & Seraphim Church (name withheld) at Oke-Owode area, Ogbomoso, the girl reportedly informed, would ask either of the two sisters to come into his room “to collect something and he would touch us with fetish objects and command us to lie on the bed. He will rub something on our body before forcefully sleeping with us.”

The girl said they tried to notify their grandmother who is the wife of the prophet though he had warned them against disclosing what was going on to anyone.

So, for two years, he molested the orphan girls until their brother became suspicious and took them for medical examination at the hospital.

Disturbed by the development, the hospital management decided to involve the Civil Defence to intervene and investigate the matter, which led to the suspect being arrested.

When contacted, sources at the Area Command headquarters of the NSCDC in Ogbomoso at old NITEL complex, Takie, said the matter had been transferred to their state headquarters in Ibadan (a confirmation) while refusing to give any details. “You can seek information at our headquarters in Ibadan,” an officer told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.
