BREAKING: Oyo PDP chieftain, Temi Adibi, dies aged 64

Hon Temilola Adibi is dead. He passed away this morning at the age of 64. He would have been 65 in April.

 

According to one of his aides who spoke under condition of anonymity he died after he jogged this morning, Tuesday, at Ilorin, capital of Kwara state.

 

“Hon Adibi suffered arthritis and had been on and off hospital for some time but he had gotten better. He was in fact in Ogbomoso last weekend and looked hale and hearty.

 

“His doctors advised him to engage in regular physical exercise and he just finished the routine this morning when he reportedly slumped and passed away.”

During the first tenure of Governor Seyi Makinde he held office as Director General of Bill and Signage Board in Oyo state. He was a member of the House of Representatives representing Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency between 1999 and 2003 on the platform on the defunct Alliance for Democracy.

He also served as chairman of Ogbomoso North local government during which he created remarkable landmarks especially in road construction.

 

He held other political offices and was very popular among the youths.
