‘Happy 70th birthday,’ chairman Ogbomoso South eulogizes Prince Felix

The incumbent chairman of Ogbomoso South local government, Hon Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy has eulogized a former executive chairman of the council, Prince Felix Akande, who on November 26, clocked 70 years.
Prince Akande, who was chairman in the 2000s left a legacy of accomplishments while in office, among which is the revenue – spinning popular Lagbami Osekun Civic Centre he built in the council secretariat.
Many people have celebrated the Ijeru prince, who is a chieftain of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state.

In a post in his Facebook wall Hon Oyedokun fondly called OOT described Akande as a man who served the council area with unwavering commitment.

“Akande, the esteemed former chairman of Ogbomoso South Local Government and a revered leader of the PDP in Ogbomoso,” OOT noted.
“Today, as the current chairman, I had the honor of visiting and celebrating this remarkable milestone with him. We thank God for his wisdom, unwavering leadership, and lifetime of service to our community.
