The result of the 2025 free JAMB form qualifying test of the Hon Femi Onireti/Ogbomoso Progressive Elite Club (OPEC) has been released.
The qualifying test is the first stage in the annual scholarship and bursary awards process of the Olufemi Onireti Foundation/OPEC to indigenes of Ogbomoso zone who gain admission into tertiary institutions in 2025.

The next stage is purchase of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination forms for successful candidates, to be followed by free JAMB classes.
The test introduced last year to increase the rate of admission and beneficiaries by ensuring only the best candidates enjoy the programme, had invitations extended to the over 80 public secondary schools in the zone with request to send two best students each, with the test held at different centres across the zone two weeks ago..
Ogbomoso North local government has 42 participants; Ogbomoso South, 31; Ogo-Oluwa, 27; Oriire, 18; and Surulere, 23, making a total of 142 candidates.
“Meanwhile, there is no fixed quota or number, if all performed well and met the requirement of success set by the organizing committee, so be it, we will consider all of them,” Hon Onireti, who contested the House of Representatives’ election in 2023 told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

The breakdown of the performance shows a student of Baptist Secondary Grammar School Ahoyaya, Ahoyaya, Ogbomoso, notched the highest score of 70 out of a total of 100; while Adesanya Janet Adeola of Agboola Adibi Millennium Model Secondary School and Adesina Joy Adenike both scored 68.

Further analysis of the results indicate that only 19 students scored 50 percent and above; 29 nicked 40 – 49%; 11, 35 – 39%; while a whooping 73 scored below 35%.
In the meantime, the percentage pass mark to use os yet to be determined.
