After losing mum, 2 sisters in tragic trailer accident, only surviving pry 3 pupil daughter seeks suicide – ‘She needs help’

Balkis Moshood the last child of Kudirat, the banku seller at Takie, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, who was crushed to death along with her two daughters in a trailer accident Wednesday night, has expressed willingness that she dies too.
She is all alone in the world now and was heard Thursday saying she would take her own life too.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com reported Thursday about the trailer-okada accident at Apake area of the town which claimed her mother and two elderly sisters, 13 – year old Mariam and Azeezat while returning from their banku selling joint at Takie late in the night on Wednesday. The three were brutally crushed. The accident occurred less than 200 meters to their stall.

The woman and her three children lived all alone at Nana river/Atenda area, where she sold banku in the morning through evening before continuing the sale at Takie. She also engaged in hairdressing vacation.
“Her three children assisted her a lot often taking turn to sell the food,” a neighbour told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.
“Now, when Balkis realized the cruel fate that befell her mother and sisters all she started saying was ‘I want to die too.’ We have been consoling her,” the neighbour added.
The girl now an orphan, in primary three and despite her age, she also “hustled” always assisting her mother in the banku trade.

“The girl needs help,” Hon Adewuyi Adegbite, who is also a neighbour of the bereaved family said. “People need to come to the aid of the little girl. What befell her is more than she can bear. She can’t even understand the full import now. A primary three pupil, now all alone in the world. It is sad. But this is where privileged individuals can lend hands of assistance.”
