Qualifying test for OPEC/Femi Onireti free JAMB 2025 holds today

The Ogbomoso Progressive Elite Club (OPEC)’s qualifying examination for 2025 edition of free JAMB form will hold Thursday November 14, starting 11:00am.

 

The initiative which is a collaboration with Hon Olufemi Onireti a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, encompasses purchase of free JAMB formy for higher institutions’ admission seekers in 2025 from Ogbomoso zone of Oyo state and grooming the successful candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

 

According to a press release signed by Comrade ‘Dokun Alamu, Comrade (Prince) Tojuade-Adedoyin and Mr. Origade Adegbite, the qualifying test will hold in several centres across the zone to lessen the burden of transportation for aspiring students in the wake of current high costs.

 

Venues for the examination include Anglican Grammar School for candidates in Ogbomoso North local government; Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ahoyaya for candidates in Ogbomoso South; and Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ajaawa, Obada Community High School, Odo-Oba and Community High School, Lagbedu-Orile for students in Ogo-Oluwa local government.

It’s also stated that candidates in Oriire local government will converge at Ikoyi Grammar School, Ikoyi, Community Grammar School, Adafila and Community Secondary School, Ahoro-Dada; while nominated students from Surulere local government will use Iresaadu High School, Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Oko, and Olugbon High School, Orile- Igbon, will serve as centres.

 

It is however noted that candidates can proceed to centres closest to them irrespective of local governments for convenience and reduced cost of transportation.

 

ogbomosoinsightonline.com reports that all over 80 public secondary schools in the zone are expected to send two best students to participate to select the beneficiaries.

This year those who went on to secure university admissions further enjoyed bursary awards.
