‘No previous govt magnanimous like Makinde’s’ – Civil Service Commission boss, set to recruit civil servants

Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has approved the recruitment of 800 workers into the state Civil Service.
The chairman, State Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamorudeen Aderibigbe disclosed this in an interview with the BCOS News reporter, Adebayo Abdur-Rofih.

Alhaji Aderibigbe who stated that the commission will soon come out with the procedure for the recruitment noted that the measure was a way of reducing unemployment in the state.

While highlighting the commitments of the Governor Makinde led administration to positively engaging the people, Alhaji Aderibigbe said no previous administration had a record like the current government.

He stressed that the government did not wait till the tail end of the administration before the recruitment exercise like others would do, adding that it takes a rare magnanimity to employ workers at a time the wages are being reviewed upward.
