‘This honour unique’ – Dr Are, founder Calvary Drama Ministries, as TWC celebrates him specially

The founder of the Calvary Drama Ministries, headquartered in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Dr. Moses Korede Are has stated that the kind of honour bestowed on him by the True Worshippers Church (TWC), is one he never witnessed in his life.

“The truth of the matter without exaggeration is that I have never been honoured this way, I have never been honoured in this capacity,” Dr Are stated while making a remark at the service.

TWC, Oke-Aanu, Ogbomoso, recently appreciated Dr Are’s invaluable contributions to the expansion of the gospel through drama, with a lavish celebratory service held in his honour.

Dr Are, a veterinary doctor, founded the drama ministry years ago with several spirit-inspired films to its name some of which are “Kopu Jesu,” “Irinajeo to Lewu” and “Agbara Ajinde.”

His commitment and steadfastness in the Lord provoked the church, which launched the monthly “Jesus Market” in Ogbomoso recently, to set him and his wife up for honour, held in an unprecedented way.

Dr Are a.k.a. “Baba Gbenro” or “Abattoir,” further expressing joy said, “This award is different, I have gone to places to receive awards in many places, even in Lagos, if you come to my house you see awards but this is very, very unique.

“I have never experienced this where you give people award and still give them money. We never knew it’s going to be this big. I am not given to shedding tears but I am moved to tears, they are not tears of sorrow anyway but actually tears of joy. Jesus will put laughter in your mouth in Jesus name.”

Saying he had known Rev’d Niyi Adebayo, Lead Pastor of TWC, for about 28 years, the drama gospeller also commended the contributions of Rev’d Adebayo to his ministry in the past, “We thank him for his support for the Calvary Drama Ministries, if our generator breaks down and we call him that our generator has packed up he provides another one, we want to do production, we don’t have money, he will help us. There is no time we call him that he will not rise to the occasion. Sir the Lord will reward you.”

He thanked the congregation effusively, “God will honour the leadership of this church, God will honour our reverend and the wife and God will honour every member of True Worshippers Church in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I want you to believe it, I am saying it emphatically, the Lord God will honour you because you have done this for this man of God, God will give you a very big gift in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

In different testimonies, “Baba Gbenro” was applauded for giving room for his wife to also express herself, for the respects he accords her and also was described as “a man that has positive mind even in positive situations. He is a trail blazer, light bearer, he had the light and did not withhold it. He preaches to the preacher that preaches to the preachers.”
