Oyo state Grand Imam Agbotomokekere leads Moulid Nabiyy celebration at Ilaji – special prayer for Jubril Dotun Sanusi

His Eminence, Sheikh AbdulGaniy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Grand Imam of Oyo State, and Grand Patron of the League of Imams and Alfas of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta states, led the Oyo state League of Imams and Alfas in the annual Moulid Nabiyy celebration hosted by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s Ilaji Muslim Community.

The event, held at the Ilaji Resort International Mini Stadium, attracted a large gathering of dignitaries and faithful. Prominent Muslim organizations such as FOMWAN, NASFAT, and QUAREEB were also in attendance, alongside various community leaders including Ibadan Mogajis, Baales, and warlords, as well as market leaders.

The Grand Mufty of Oyo State, Fadilat Sheikh Ismail Okunmebo, delivered a keynote lecture on “Leadership and Its Qualities in Islam,” emphasizing the Islamic perspective on governance and moral responsibility.
Special prayers were offered for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland, wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
