JUST IN: 3 Ogbomoso traditional rulers die in motor accident

Tragic struck Friday in Ogbomoso as three traditional rulers in Oriire local government area of Ogbomoso zone Oyo state lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident at Arinkinkin area Ogbomoso while going to the funeral party of mother of a brother traditional ruler – Oloolo of Oolo Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi.
The deceased Obas are Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula and Alayetoro of Ayetoro, all from Oriire local government. Their names could not not be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.

They were said to be on their way to the party when the accident occured following their vehicle ramming into an oncoming truck.
Olodogbo was confirmed to have died on the spot but it’s unclear at what point the other two passed away.
A source at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital Ogbomoso confirmed the incident to ogbomosoinsightonline.com informing their bodies are deposited in the hospital’s morgue.
It is also revealed that the fourth victim who sustained injuries is being attended to in the hospital “but he doesn’t look like an Oba,” the source said.
