How popular school proprietor Dn Laseinde Baba Gomal died

Death has occured of the proprietor of Gomal Baptist College, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Deacon Gabriel Oyegbola Laseinde.
Deacon Laseinde reportedly passed away Monday afternoon during a brief illness.
According to a family source “Baba had been ill, on and off, but the sickness was not one that prevented him from going out.
“In fact he received visitors today who came to look after his health. He even escorted one of the visitors but while coming back he suffered a deterioration in his condition and was immediately rushed to an hospital, where he eve.ntually passed away.”

The deceased died a month exactly after his elder sister was buried. “He indeed gave the votes of thank at her sister’s burial service at Orisun Iye Baptist Church, Ogbomoso.”
“Baba Laseinde” as he was popularly called from Ologbo compound, Kolara, was a teacher in his younger age during which he taught mathematics. He was a teacher of mathematics at Soun High School for many years.
He later resigned when his church requested his assistance in setting up its private secondary school, Ayegun Baptist College.
He built the school from scratch to an enviable position after which he started his own private school, which also became very popular – Gomal Baptist College, along Osogbo road, Ogbomoso.
He is described as a dedicated, God fearing man who devoted his all to Jesus Christ and what he believed in.
He was survived by wife and children.
