Old war horse, Dotun Oyelade, makes Makinde’s commissioner-nominees’ list

Prince Dotun Oyelade immediate past chairman Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan, has been named as one of the commissioner nominees by Engr Seyi Makinde Oyo state governor.
Prince Oyelade whose name is among the nine nominees read in the Oyo State House of Assembly Friday aside being BCOS boss during the first four years of Makinde served in some past governments in the state too.

A media guru with print and broadcast experience, he was private secretary to late Governor Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina who served between 1999 and 2003.
During the tenure of late Governor Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala Prince Oyelade was Special Adviser on Public Communications.
“He always have his ways with Chief Executives of the state. If he passes the legislators’ screening slated for Tuesday next week that will be the fourth time he would be availing the state of his services,” a commentator, Adekunle Adesina, told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

The Oolo compound, Osupa, Ogbomoso-born politician is also an author with books like Beacons of Ogbomosoland (A compendium of Ogbomosoland elites), which he co-authored, Akala, Destiny at Work and so on to his credit.
Oyelade was born on September 9, 1952.
