BREAKING: Amotekun nabs four at Aaje Ogbomoso over narcotics

The South-West Nigeria Security Network also known as Amotekun Corps in Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Saturday arrested four over alleged use of hard drugs at Aaje area.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com, an eyewitness as the suspects were being rounded up, got confirmation for the arrest through a reliable source at the Oke-Ado office of the agency.
“Yes, our men arrested four suspects where they were taking hard drugs. They got them with the exhibits,” the source disclosed.
The suspects according to the source had been taken into custody at the police area command office at Owode.
Aaje it is recalled went up in crisis recently when miscreants from another area of the city allegedly invaded the community to unleash mayhem, looting shops and committing arson. Among the buildings vandalized is the family house of the immediate past lawmaker that represented Ogbomoso federal constituency at the lower chamber of the national assembly, Jacob Ajao Adejumo.
Last week police raided the area the thugs allegedly had their base arresting about 20 suspects.
The security operatives have in the circumstances intensified efforts to rid the metropolis of criminal elements even as an officer at Owode Divisional Police headquarters told Ogbomoso Insight, “We are committed to ridding the community of criminality.”
